Harbison-Walker History First founded in 1865 as the Star Fire Brick Company, Harbison-Walker has been producing world class refractories for over 140 years. At the end of the 20th century Harbison-Walker combined its' efforts with AP Green and North American Refractories, merging three refractory giants and creating the world's most technologically advanced refractory company.
